Not Quite What I Was Planning

This weekend has been a lot different than I thought. I really thought I was going to have time to do some blog housekeeping and wander around the blogosphere to see y'all but instead, because the snow stopped, I've been off and running to get things done that I postponed because of that white stuff. My DVD broke and I had to go find a replacement. (Please pause while I, the technology-impaired, pat myself on the back for installing it properly the first time.) While I was at it, I also picked up some other things I needed.

I also need prescriptions refilled and groceries because I have to start fasting tomorrow for my test on Tuesday. I don't eat much usually but tell me I can't eat and suddenly I'm starving to death. And I'm not allowed to drive after my test so I'll need something in the cupboard. God bless Diane for getting up early and taking me to the test. I'm getting really tired of tests but blessedly, I'm almost done for a while -- there's only two more (I think/hope). So far nothing new has been discovered -- hallelujah!!! Then again, I wish they would figure out why I feel so lousy.

Hope you're all having a great day!!!!! I'll be around to visit later!!!

Happy Blogging!!!!!!!

Kay

i don't know which tests you're taking, but I wish you luck. Hope what they find is nothing serious.

    Meanwhile, know that I care.

  9. Good luck with the testing and the fasting! I presume they've added the order in blood tests to check your levels of Vitamin D and B12? My reumatologist checked my D and found me VERY deficient (gets order to absorb D from the normal sources as you age--yeah--crud!). He ordered mega doses for six weeks, got it up to par and now I'm on normal daily doses and I can't tell you how much more energy I had before been blaming on my RA. Also B-12 deficiency can wreak havoc; my gen doc is ordering that added to my next blood work. Can't hurt to ask.
