[Note: Please check out yesterday's post -- I really would like your input and submissions for the new feature.]
Yeah, it's Monday and while it's a holiday, a good groooooooaaannnnn is an excellent way to begin your Labor Day before dashing off to your picnic. Today you get to sing again as we have a musical theme on an exceptionally good, fairly recent addition to the collection! Get ready!!!!!!
Three good friends -- Tina. Marge and Cindy --loved musical theater and saved their money so they could get excellent seats at the premiere of Madonna's film Evita. They were really excited about the event and carefully planned their evening.
At the last minute an unforeseen emergency prevented Cindy from going with them. The other two girls were extremely upset at this and both sniffled and wept and threatened not to go without her. Cindy, however, insisted that they go and consoled them with these words:
"Don't cry for me, Marge and Tina!"
Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!

Ooooohhh... Shoulda seen that one coming...
ReplyDeleteHave a good holiday weekend, Kay!
I can't come up with this kind of material. This one was actually better than all the rest. I'll have to TRY to come up with one on my own for submission. I would like to write a poem, too, after reading Sage and Paul's blogs. You all are inspiring me!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED this one (but then at our house everything is a song cue, so of course I would!)
ReplyDeleteKay,
ReplyDeleteI love your groaners and will be happy to send any I know.
