Who I Am:
I am a child of the Post-WWII Baby Boom. I was born and grew up here in Ohio -- the Heart of It All -- and have, except for a year elsewhere, lived in several northern cities and towns here.
I am now in my 60s and am finally comfortable with myself. I have been tried and tested by life and all its vicissitudes -- good, bad and catastrophic, and have survived it with what I hope has been grace, wit and courage but that's not my call to make.
I am an old-fashioned girl who believes in God, Mom, apple pie (homemade, of course), the flag and the Constitution of the United States, and The Ohio State University Buckeyes.
Mostly, I'm a decent, well-mannered person who doesn't suffer fools gladly. That said, I am prone to rant on politics and injustice so get ready to duck when I get on my soapbox. I do love love a good laugh as well and can handle it when the joke's on me.
