Always an Adventure

Yeah, yeah, yeah I know I've been in Cranky Old Broad mode of late but I defy anyone not to be when it feels like the sky is falling.  I'm late posting today so it's gonna be short.

* The latest debacle is that I just spent two hours trying to pay my gas bill online -- you know, just like I do every month -- serious frustration reigned.  Frankly, I think they sorta overdo their security.  I  mean really . . .  Why would anyone want to hack my account?  To pay my bill for me?  Not bloody likely.

* Alec is back from Florida and stopped by last evening looking tanned and healthy for his age and I guess he had a great winter down there.  Jeff is in the Isles, I guess.  I get tired of people asking about him.  He brought me some flowers to thank me for checking his house.  I'm glad that he seems to have finally gotten past the loss of the fair Bridget.  I let him know that I arranged for a Mass intention for her as the anniversary is imminent.  He was pleased and his thanks were profuse.  It's just what friends do.  Besides, I loved her a lot, too.

* I've been pretty good the past couple days about visiting y'all and will be around later.  I'm trying very hard to be more organized and some fine day I may get it right.

* I've pretty much decided when I'm heading up north after checking a few things out.  A bonus this trip (I hope) is that I'll be stopping in Bellevue to visit Gene who I had the pleasure of meeting recently!!! Barb is excited and is making plans for us and says the gals are counting on me to join them for cards.  No problem.

Well, I have to get to the bank before it closes so I'm outta here! But here's the theme song for today:

Hope y'all are having a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Blogging!!!!!!!
