It's the Groaner of the Week!!!!!!

I want to thank y'all for the kind condolences for the Jeffer and his family. As to the kind words about my being a good friend -- I just do what I can. 'Sides, someone wiser, funnier and crazier than I, said "Friends help you move; real friends help you move bodies." Jeff is a real friend -- we've been friends over forty years. He yells at me because I don't holler when I should. Call me Ms. Independent.

When I forget The Friday Groaner, y'all gotta know I'm on overload. Soooooo when I post an update tomorrow, I'll include The Friday Groaner -- okay?

Bubba and Cheryl had married under hasty and none too happy circumstances. Their married life had not been anything to brag about either. But when, after they had been wed for thirty-five years, Edwin went to the local judge to ask for an annulment, the whole village of Middleton gasped with amazement.

A date for the hearing was set. However, when the time came, the judge demanded to know the grounds on which Bubba based his demand for an annulment.

"It's like this, your Honor," answered Bubba. "I've just learned that Cheryl's father never had a license to carry a gun."
