It's the Groaner of the Week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's some more Holiday fun!!!!!!!!!!!!! Start your week with a groooaaannn!!!!!!!!!

Little Johnny was a strangely creative and imaginative child. In Sunday School class, he drew a Nativity scene that showed Santa, sleigh and reindeer that was really sort of odd and the teacher asked him about it.

Teacher: "Johnny, why are there were the regular eight reindeer, Rudolph and this strange looking tenth animal -- it looks like a cross between a reindeer and a cow with a green nose?!"

Johnny: "Ohhhhhhh . . . that's Olive, the udder reindeer!

Teacher: "And who are these three very tiny men wearing crowns?"

Johnny: "They're the wee three kings from the Orient."

Teacher: "Johnny, why is the baby Jesus sleeping on a scale?"

Johnny: "He's a weigh in the manger ma'am!"

The teacher was, at this point, nearly speechless at the last bit of creativity but had to ask another question about Johnny's drawing.

Teacher: "Who are these three men who look like they're standing in a flower bed?"

Johnny (exasperated): "They're the shepherds who watched their phlox by night, Teacher!

Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Okay, I've decided whoever thinks up these things is either highly creative or has way too much time on his or her hands ... or maybe a little of both. Thanks for another great groan and laugh, Kay!

    Kay,

I love the stuff kids say: Here are a few.

"St. Paul cavorted to Christianity, and he preached
Holy Acrimony which is another name for marriage."

"Lot's wife was a pillar of salt during the day, but was a ball of fire during the night."

"When Mary heard she was to be the Mother of God, She sang the Magna Carta."

'The people who followed the Lord were called the twelve desibles and the Epistels were the wives of the Apostles."

Hope you are feeling better, Kay....
