ARGH!!!!!!!!! Blogger Help is Useless

Someone who hasn't the cojones to use their screen name wanted to know why the huge white space in my previous post. I wish I knew. I'm just an old lady who really doesn't understand it either. Anyone who visits here regularly knows that I admit that I am technologically impaired. What I do know is that I've had (am having) a problem with things freezing up in Blogger and their so-called Help appears to be about as useful as a screen door on a submarine as my ex-husband the submarine sailor would say. I am angry and upset about it because I really need more stress and I am just dying to spend my entire day trying to find help to fix this stuff. Uh-huh. I'm running out of things to try and frustration rules for the moment. I hope it doesn't freeze and mess up more when I try to post this. I hate re-booting all the damn time.

Happy Blogging!!!!!

  1. I have had a lot of empty space to show up at the end of my posts, too. When that happens, I go back into the dashboard and edit, but scrolling to the end of the post and then hitting the backspace key until it gets close to the last words of the post. Maybe that would work for you?

  2. Try this:

Open that post and click on the "Edit HTML" tab. Delete everything AFTER the last word and period of the entry, and save.

If there's nothing after the entry, I don't know what's making the white space.

Calm! Calm! Remember, it's only space. I have tons of it in my head!

  3. I have tons in my head too, Steph!!!!! And yeah, there was nothing after the entry but I did a drag the cursor thing and it worked. I've necer had such a problem with Blogger -- it's usually a no-brainer to use.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!! I really appreciate your help!!!!!! Everyone should hire you as their web designer -- you are great!!!!

  4. I tried it, Judy and it wouldn't work. It's what I usually do. I'm gonna run some of my spyware stuff and see if they find a bug that made things dicy.

  6. IMHO anyone that thinks it's necessary to comment on blank space in a blog post has a blank mind and WAY too much time on their hands --- IGNORE THEM!! (they're rude)

and BTW, the posts all look fine on my computer

    Hope you're feeling better
