Update

I am here. I finally went to see my doctor yesterday because I still feel like death and she ordered a throat culture. She called later to tell me that I don't have strep and probably just have a virus and that I should just let it run its course. Sooooo I'm here feeling like death, guzzling Theraflu, coughing like crazy, praying that it goes away and sleeping a lot. If I'm not better by Monday, I'm calling again.
Tomorrow it will be a week with this you-know-what.

Here's a video of 280 North to I-75 which I have to drive to get to Barb's:
They don't really drive that fast but it's still an adventure and y'all will 'get' why I'm not nuts about this part of my journey north. (I exit at Alexis just before the Ohio-Michigan border).

Hope y'all are having a great day!!!

Happy Blogging!!!!!

  1. hate those bad throats that the docs tell you will go away in their own good time. what i do is squeeze a lemon into a coffee mug, press (with a garlic press...ha) a clove of garlic into the juice, add a good slug of honey, and fill the cup with boiling water. stir it and let it cool a bit, then drink it. i repeat when my throat starts hurting again. a friend showed me this one winter when it was too cold, and i was too sick, to go to the doctor. worked like a charm. by the time the weather cleared, i was healed. good health to you, kay...holding thee in the light....m.e.

  2. Awww... I'm sorry you're feeling so awful, Kay. I hate being sick, too. I got sick after our traveling this spring also. I think it's probably because our resistance is down after being tired from a busy trip. Do take it easy and get well.

    ORGANIDIN for cough.

    ALLEGRA-D 12 for nasal congestion.

My doctor always prescribes these two meds and they work like a charm.

  6. Hope your throat is better by now. Enjoyed that video. I can only wish our freeways here had such a little amount of traffic. I still drive them some, but it's not as much fun as it once was. I don't like being on them when it rains 'cause too many people here and when we were in Phoenix area don't know how to drive then -- they could at least slow down.

If there's time my husband and I always enjoyed the back roads. Fall in Ohio nice, partially because of the tree variety, especially the maples!
