Easter and Passover Greetings and Thoughts on Holidays

Best wishes to all y'all as you celebrate Easter and Passover!!!! Here in Ohio we're having a White Easter & Passover probably as a payback for not having a white Christmas and Chanukah. Sigh. Is it me or is the weather getting weirder? Practically the entire country is freezing on Easter!!! I'm stifling an urge to call Al Gore and ask him about global warming but never mind . . . politicians have an answer for everything.

I've alway liked Easter -- the Resurrection is probably my favorite part of my faith -- it signifies for me that we all can recover from the bad stuff and move on to greater things. I have rebuilt/reinvented myself more than once in dire circumstances and probably will again. Today I walked in the ice and snow to Easter mass at my parish and Father Klingler gave a wonderful homily on renewal and it touched my heart. The walk home was a time for retrospection, assessment and, yes, a few tears as I looked at myself and my life and my future. I try to be dispassionate but, unfortunately, I know the subject all too well and the bottom line is that I need to take a long, hard look at things. Hopefully, doing so will bear some insights into where I'm heading. Tomorrow morning I will be making a major step in that direction albeit with great trepidation.

Hope you all are having a blessed day!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be posting more soon!!!!!!!!

Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kay
