This is where I think out loud about Life, the Universe and Everything. I consider life an adventure and this is part of mine whether I'm ranting on politics or taking you on a ramble through Kay's World.
I'm soooooooooo tired of Google foisting all their you know what on me. I'm about ready to move my blogs else where. Tell me why this is a good or bad idea!!!!!!..
i have no idea. You might talk to people who use TypePad. I don't have the problem you do with Blogger or Google+; so not sure what's going on but there are other options. Check those whose blogs you read to see what they are experiencing.
I read that Blogger is discontinuing the reader list on July 13. Or is it called the blog list? Anyway, the list that lists all the blogs we follow and let's us know when someone has a new post.
I have read bloggers who have moved between Blogger and WordPress (the two major platforms. Sometimes a couple of times. They all had problems with the move and figuring out how to do what they wanted to do. I think you should take a bit of time to think about it. You could also do what I do--ignore what I don't want to participate in. If it looks interesting, I will try it and when it is no longer interesting stop using it.
Uh oh, I hope Rubye Jack is wrong. I too have my frustrations over google (I hear ya abt. google+), but my impression is that Wordpress is worse. Dunno about Typepad. And Tumbler is basically for photos, isn't it? Anyhooo, best of luck!
I've learned not to expect much. If anything looks complicated, I ignore it. Just keep it simple. This is the rule of computer life that I find most helpful.
Bad idea. I hate having to figure out wordpress, whoever they are. Sleep on it; you may feel better in the morning. Don't make me come down there!
ReplyDeleteDon't move it, just pick on of Blogger's new templates. That should take care of your major problems.
