It's the Groaner of the Week!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we celebrate Memorial Day so I'm asking y'all to take a moment to remember and honor the many men and women who have served our country so courageously both in war and in peace. I recommend hugs and a 'thank you' if your favorite vets are still around and remembering them if they aren't.

And Here's an excellent groooaannn to start your week!

A psychiatrist is doing rounds in his clinic with a couple of interns. They look in on a new patient and the psychiatrist says to his students, "Sometimes this fellow thinks he's a temptress in a Bizet opera, but today, as you can see from his goose stepping, he thinks he's the head of the Luftwaffe. What condition do you think he's suffering from?"

The first student replies, "Is he a paranoid schizophrenic with a multiple personality disorder?"

The second student says, "No . . . I think he just doesn't know whether he's Carmen or Goering."

Happy Blogging!!!!

As usual, your groaner elicited a groan from this reader. Thanks, Kay!

Indeed, my dear, we Honor ALL the Men & Women who gave their lives and their limbs to safeguard our shores and our freedoms....!
What a legacy you have my dear, going all the way back to the beginning of our country...! And up to and including your brother and daughter...Hug them and thank them both, for me, please!

  6. love the funny!

Can you beleive Jim Tressel resigned? I personally think he was forced to resign but I am so disappointed. He 'appeared' to have such high morals and values and I do understand that he can't monitor all those kids but the fact that he knew what was happening and did not report it; that was his downfall.

    cripes...

I most definitely did pause for remembrance today!

Yes, a salute to so many American heroes on Memorial Day.

Just heard on the news about OSU's Jim Tressel leaving. Now what?

Jo: RE: the groaner, that was mild. Re: Tressel, my mailbox is going nuts and I'll issue a response in the morning after I get it in perspective.

  12. My wife reminded me that Memorial day is to remember all who have died, not necessarily only veterans who have their own day of remembrance.
