Good News!!!

I have enough bees in my bonnet to keep me ranting for days but for now I want to brag a tad!!!! My brother called this morning to tell me that he's a grandpa again and that I am a great auntie!!! My nephew, Matt and his fiancee, Brittany, are the proud parents of Carter Alexander who weighed in at seven pounds, seven ounces at around two a.m. today!!!! Mommy and Carter and Daddy are doing fine.

Now I'm off to go take care of business -- not fun on the best of days but today isn't the best of days and the idiots have my blood pressure in a tizzy. Part of it is my fault (sorta) but we all know that stuff happens.

I'll be back later to scream a lot about what's happening in this country. If you're an elder American and your blood pressure isn't in a tizzy, you're a lot richer than I am!

Hope y'all are having a great day!!!!!!

Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!

Kay

How wonderful to have a new baby in the family! We have friends who had a new baby today as well. We are trying to stay focused on the good, cause you can't do anything about the other.

  8. We've been in a tizzy over here, too seeing what the Republicans are doing with the tax cuts for the RICH. I'm so happy you got some good news. I guess we have to focus on the wonderful things we do have in this happy season.

  11. I'm not in a tizzy but only because I've given up on politics. Not the right way to live.

  15. I had dinner tonight with a family member visiting from Palmer, AK, the town next to Wasilla, and she met and chatted with Sarah Palin in the Costco. She is very impressed with her and I just smiled and said we would have to table this part of our lovely catch-up conversation.
