Update and On the Road Again . . . Again!!!!!!

I'm back from the wilds of northwestern Ohio aka Toledo. I finally have come up with the best way to navigate (yeah, heights scare the bejaysus outta me!) the wicked bridge pictured above that spans the Maumee River at a height of 400 feet!!!! It's called get in the middle lane and go like hell!!!!!!

I had a nice, relaxing time and mostly hung out with Barb and her fellow octogenarians. They even invited me to join them for their 5 o'clock card game. Great fun!!!!! The weather was lovely from start to finish and I took the scenic route travelling the roads of my youth.

Jeff is back from Ireland. Shaughnessy is back from the kennel. Both were happy reunions. This weekend we'll all be heading to Florida to visit Big Alec. I love his dad -- he's a delight. Not quite sure when we'll be back but probably it will be around the 4th. Don't know if I'll get much time online -- Jeff will be on the links with Alec a lot and I'll be on the beach -- Good stuff!!!!! We're also going to look for a bigger condo -- Jeff's is mostly just a crash pad and he thinks bigger is a good idea. I get to decorate it. Sigh.

Life is good. Hope it continues that way.

Jeff asked me to include this excellent Clancy Brothers video. He says it's a promise.

Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!!

Kay

  2. Have a great trip and wohoo on the decorating. That's fun to put a stamp of personality on a place and you are good at it from the way you have described your home.
