Yup!!!! This afternoon I'm hitting the highways and byways of the Buckeye State to head north to my hometown. My obligation to the U.S. Census is fulfilled and I am free. I'll tell y'all about that later but, for the moment, let's just say it was an adventure and I won't accept another operation with them.
I saw Dr. Krishna (hare, hare) yesterday and had good news -- the nodules on my thyroid have shrunk a little which means I get to keep it for now. Hallelujah! Today is Dr. Maria and I hope for a very good report and some answers from her, too.
I'm soooooooooo tired of being sooooooooooo tired.
I'm not sure when I'll return but it will probably be the weekend. Jeff is back on Monday (I think) and that means more chaos. LOL
Hope y'all are having a great day!!!!!!
Here's a favorite song from one of my favs!!!!!! Gotta love Willie!!!!
Happy Blogging!!!!!!!
Kay
Good luck and best wishes, Kay!!!
ReplyDeleteYay, I'm real happy to hear about the good news on your nodules Kay. You were due some positive news in that area. You're not the only one who won't be taking on another stint with the census people from what I have heard and read. I guess they have a lot of issues. Take care of yourself sweetie....I've missed your comments. See you soon. Hugs, Joy
ReplyDeleteAh, so very nice to see you and to cheer the results. We will be here for your chaos on your return.
ReplyDeleteHave a good trip, Kay. I am glad to know you dodged the surgery bullet.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you that the nodules have shrunk. I went through that, too. However, mine didn't shrink. It's much better to be able to keep your thyroids.
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Ohio!!!
sounds like things are going your way. didn,t willy write about that too?
ReplyDeleteJust stopping in to check on you, so glad to hear the good news. Keeping you in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteNothing as wonderful as good news at a Doctor's visit. Rest when you can and take care. BTW loved the Willie Nelson.....
ReplyDeleteGood news about the thyroid. I hope the other medical appointment brought good news also.
ReplyDeleteDrive safely.
In Germany once we were listening to the radio in the car and he came on singing "An die Autobahn" No kidding, we laughed ourselves sick. I can't hear that song without inserting "autobahn" now. ha ha
ReplyDeleteglad to see you are back

Many years ago...must be 10 or 20 now that I think about it...one of the teachers at my school did the census home visits during the summer months. He said that we wouldn't believe some of the sights/people /situations he witnessed!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that the thyroid is cooperating. Hang in there, Kay!
Keeping good thoughts for you!
