Comment of the Week

I visited the site linked below and thought this comment positively brilliant:

I never want to hear another apology from any Republican. I want resignations, impeachments and prosecutions.

I'm too busy and too outraged to comment on it but I think it stands in its own 'merit' just fine. I am tired of these alleged human beings. Martin Luther King is crying in heaven.

Happy Blogging!!!!!!

  2. Hey, Kay, I tried to comment. I have a lot of problems with our current 'cult of apology.' The apology seems to be the end of the matter and the apologist (whoever s/he is) seems to think that the apology ends the matter. I don't see any restitution, or sincere desire to reform the behavior that caused the outrage that led to the apology. Christ said 'go and sin no more' but our serial apologists think He meant 'apology accepted--do as you will.'

  6. Another fat-faced racist guy shoots his mouth off and thinks he's cute.
And you know he's not sorry, because he thinks most people believe what he does but are too timid to say it.
Yes, get them out of power and keep them out of power, and if they are criminals put them in prison!

Well, right along with MLK's tears are Jesus'. What passes for Christianity in this country is unbelieveable.
Kay-I hope you are doing well.

  8. Repulsive and disgusting! I really don't know what to say...except that this guy looks like he doesn't have a functioning brain in him...let alone an apology. Truly, he needs to be OUT of office for all of our sakes.

  10. I read South Carolina senator Jake Knotts’ remark. An apology is fine but not enough. The SC GOP should throw him out of their party. I understand that there is freedom of expression when you express your own belief, but this man wants to represent all the people of South Carolina. If they elect him, to me it means they agree with him. This is the same man who several years ago was convicted of animal abuse. He does not love his own dog, how can he care for his fellow human beings. Shame.
