After much dithering, psychic pain, pressure from assorted sources and a couple marathon trans-Atlantic phone calls, as soon as I hit 'publish', Kay's Thinking Cap will be officially on hiatus until July 1st. My schedule is on overload with work and assorted other things so during this time I will be completing my obligation to the U.S. Census, making my annual trip to Toledo, and preparing for Jeff's return on the 20th after which we will be heading to Florida to see his dad with Shaughn in tow.
In the midst of all this, panic attacks and TIAs have occurred so I think it's best that I lighten my load where possible, take a step back, and regroup and so does my doctor. I shall miss y'all and when time allows, I'll be around to visit. I wish all of you all the good things!!!!!
Here's an old Fleetwood Mac song that's been rattling around my poor overloaded brain of late:
Hope y'all are having a great day!!!!
Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!!!
Kay
I hope your hiatus does the trick: lifts all your pressures and lets you sift the wheat from the chaff as you think everything through. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteBreaks are good. Take care of yourself!
ReplyDeleteMaybe time away is just what you need Kay...one less pressure to get things done. I hope your hiatus clears things up for you and gives you some much needed breathing room. Good luck sweetie. Happy Memorial Day... Love, Joy
ReplyDeleteWhat Oma said. Take care, Kay.
ReplyDeleteI think that's wise going. I benefited from taking a similar hiatus. Sometimes we need to take time outs
ReplyDeleteGod Bless -- travel safely -- I'll be here when you return, waiting to hear what wisdom you have earned
ReplyDeleteEveryone needs a change of pace every now and then. Simplifying sounds like a good plan. Enjoy and take things easy, my friend.
ReplyDeleteTime away is a good thing and do all the things that bring you joy!
ReplyDeleteSee you in July!
Starting tomorrow I will be taking time off, too. I am going to California to visit my daughters and grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful June, Kay and we will meet again in July.
Blogs are for enjoyment so when it starts to take too much time or be stressful, then it is a good idea to take a little rest. I hope that when everything returns to normal for you that you will come back as we do like to read your posts. Take care.
ReplyDeleteWhatever it takes to keep you healthy, that is what you must do. Take care of yourself. Try to relax when you can. We'll all be here waiting for you.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break. Will be here when you return in July.

Have a great time both working and in Florida. Wave to my family while you're there, okay? They're scattered all over so just wave in some general direction and that oughta cover some of them. We'll miss you.
ReplyDeleteWe will miss you, but taking a break is a good thing. Hugs from here.
ReplyDeleteI'll miss you. You just sent an official Notice, but I have been on hiatus for quite some time without anyone's permission. You take care and we will see you when you are feeling better about everything. xoxoxo

Have a relaxing 'time away' and don't think about the computer. We'll catch up whenever you get back. Happy trails!
ReplyDeleteRest up!
ReplyDeleteWave to Plant City--near Tampa--if you go by it for me!
All the Best,
John
I saw that you had called, Kay, but I had company that night and we were in the middle of a movie. I did get your message about Betty, but I had caught up with her already.
ReplyDeleteTake care, my friend. Sounds like you've got a lot on your plate. I'll see you when I see you. By the way, my ex worked the census and he hated the door to door stuff. He was so glad when it was over.
As Meanderings said, breaks are good! Take a nice sabbatical, and we'll meet ya at the station always!
