It's the wee hours of the morning and I just finished e-filing my federal and state taxes and am praying that I didn't screw anything up too badly. (sigh) Andddddddddd I have to call and scream at bureaucrats in the morning soooo I think I'd best not stay up too much later. Can you say stressed?
The best I can do is give you Sir Paul and his mates singing an appropriate song for April 15th!
Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!!!!!
We filed our taxes but our accountant is so expensive! We're going to have to find a cheaper alternative next year. This is crazy.
ReplyDeletewe are lucky to have and accountant in the family especially at tax time. Hope you are getting a refund,Kay and Kay
ReplyDeleteOnly self employed and higher tax earners have to do a return here. I get the feeling that most people are glad of that!
ReplyDeleteOur guy is expensive too, but we've been using him for over 30 years, so I am afraid if we quit, the IRS would audit us for sure. Ugh! When you run a business from home, you have to be SO careful.
ReplyDeleteMy husband comes pretty cheap. But I heard Pres Obam say today that he is going to make filing your taxes easier next year...we can only hope!
ReplyDeletei have a wonderful tax guy...he's worth every penny.
ReplyDeleteOur engineering company is ran out of our home. I sent my taxes the 6th, to get it out of my hair. I pay taxes all year long because of being self employed. April, I pay regular taxes and estimated for fed and state. then again in June, Sept and Jan for estimated taxes. to me a tax break would be not to pay any taxes for 4 years :)
ReplyDeleteE-filing is great. We did ours a couple of weeks back and got a "receipt" about 12 hours later. Yours sent this morning may take a little longer, but I'm sure you did just fine, Kay!
