Alice of My Wintersong always sends me excellent jokes that leave me roaring (sometimes marked NOT FOR THE FRIDAY GROANER) but this one is an excellent one that's almost but not quite a groaner. I guarantee that you will get a hearty laugh or an excellent groooaaannn or both! I hope y'all enjoy it as much as I did!!!!!!!!!
My wife and I were sitting at a table at my twenty-fifth high school reunion, and I kept staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby table.
My wife asked, "Do you know her?"
"Yes, I do." I sighed, "She's my old girlfriend I understand she took to drinking right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since."
"Oh my God!" cried my wife, "Who would ever think a person could go on celebrating that long?"
And then the fight started . . .
GROOOAAANNNING and laughing soooooooo hard!!!!!!
Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!
One of the best laughs in a while.
ReplyDeleteThanks my friend!
OMG! I'm using this one at my high school reunion this summer! I love it! :D
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, Kay!
LMAO!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so hilarious! I will definitely share it with my husband. LOL
ReplyDeleteEspecially hits the mark if you've recently attended one of those milestones...(though mine was 7 years ago now...)
ReplyDeleteHa! I love your spirit and energy Kay! Your vibrancy has inspired me for tonight! Bravo!

Oh yes! This is laugh out loud (real loud) funny! Thanks for my first laugh today.
ReplyDeleteGlad you and your readers enjoy my somewhat questionable taste in jokes. I'd like to echo Clay's comment: "love your spirit and energy--your vibrancy" You may rave and rant but it all comes through, and I know you're going to be okay no matter what! Keep your sense of humor, friend. It'll get you through a lot of crap.
ReplyDeleteI love it; it is among the jokes I posted yesterday. I hope no one thinks I stole it from you!! LOL
