When Noah built his ark, he had two snakes aboard. When the animals were leaving, he said, "Go forth and multiply."
The snakes didn't move.
Noah repeated, "Go forth and multiply!"
The snakes still didn't move.
Noah was yelling by now. "Go forth and multiply!"
"We can't," they answered.
Noah was confused.
"Why not?", he demanded and the snakes replied . . .
"We're adders."

Alternatively, Noah could have burst into song with Monty Python´s song "I'm a lumberjack and I'm all right" and/or such similar songs, which are - wait for it -
