The following was developed as a mental age assessment by the School of Psychiatry at Harvard University . Take your time and see if you can read each line aloud without a mistake. The average person over 40 years of age cannot do it!
- This is this cat.
- This is is cat.
- This is how cat.
- This is to cat.
- This is keep cat.
- This is an cat.
- This is old cat.

And let us know how you did!!!! I could do it!!!! Bet y'all can, too!!!!! We Elderbloggers are definitely not average.

I groaned too, and I am thinking about next week around here, which will be extremely busy, as I have a wedding next weekend and mr. kenju has 2 doctor's appointments. The BP is still not under control, despite 24 pills per day. He is being referred to a nephrologist. Any words of wisdom?
ReplyDeleteI guess reading this makes me one! Ha! Ha!
ReplyDeleteI like it--going to pass this on to a few of my *friends*.
ReplyDeleteLoved this assessment. And by golly, I WAS busy for forty seconds. Guess this makes me a Harvard certified old fort. What? I spelled what wrong?
