Kay
That's quite a harrowing experience for a 22/23-year-old...or anyone for that matter. You are a strong and resilient person Kay....and obviously loved and cared for by many. The telling thing is that you didn't feel loved by your mother. I guess that tells us a lot for what is yet to come in your story.
ReplyDeleteYou mean that one wasn't your biggest challenge???
ReplyDeleteOh, Lord, Kay - what's next?
Kay,
ReplyDeleteWow. What an amazing story. Just watching my father with his catheter has made me think about how I am not going to take properly functioning organs for granted anymore.
So this wasn't your biggest challenge? I look forward to learning more. Thank you for sharing this part of your life!
Kay,
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine what would be more challenging than the ordeal you went through after that accident.
You were very brave and I admire you for telling all of us the story.
I see that you're a woman after me own heart, Kay. You're quite the trooper. I bet you have more inspiring stories to share and I'll be here to read them, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by and giving a shout!
*Hugs!*
What a very tough experience you had. So young and such a hard time.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly are a survivor.
I felt that I was reading a chapter in a book but it was "for real."
I'll be checkingin to see what could be harder than what you went through..
What a tough lady!
All I can say kay, about your strenght at such a young age is WOW!
ReplyDeleteI really do enjoy your stories about your life.
What a tough experience and definitely life changing for the lessons it must have taught you about toughness and mind over matter.
