A Blast from the Past!!!!!!!

I got so busy with assorted projects that have been languishing far too long that it was far too late to put together a more ambitious post today.

Remember junior high? The days when we got home from school and watched American Bandstand and learned the latest dances and music? And, even better, we got to see our favorite recording stars! Ever wonder what happened to those guys and gals?

Here's one of my favorites -- Bobby Rydell! And he's still performing and looks and sounds great! Can y'all still sing along? I can!!!!!

Hope y'all are having a great day!!!!

Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!!

Cheeky me replies, "No, I don't remember junior high. There was no such thing when I was that age!" I nearly remember being that age, though. The boys worked hard to embarrass shy girls and I was terribly shy. *shuddering* I prefer to remember later years; but, I'm happy that you enjoyed those "junior high" years, Kay. Good on you!

  2. CC: The boys did that to me, too. Still, I sorta wanted to feel like I was really cool -- and not the nerd/outcast that I really was! LOL

Hattie: My reaction, too! Hell I didn't even know he was still alive. Imagine my surprise to discover that he's only a few years older that I am. LOL!

  4. Those were the good old days--supposedly, but I was such a wuss with little self-esteem so I didn't appreciate those times like I wish I had. You may remember that the Smothers Brothers lived next door when I was in junior high and high school--and they are still going, too. Not the big time anymore, but still going.

  6. Wye: Thanks for visiting!

Fran: Me, too! Too tall, too gawky and too nerdy! However, I kept watching and hoping that John K. would see past all that and ask me to dance at the 8th grade dance. it never happened. Sigh.

Kay: Indeed!!!! I love old rock and roll!!!
