Sure and It's a Top o' the Mornin' and a Happy St. Paddy's Day to Ya!!!!

Whether y'all are a true son or daughter of Ireland or just a bit Irish like me, I wish y'all a great day and hope you celebrate with a wee pint or a nip of John Jameson's finest.

For me it isn't St. Patrick's Day without Tommy Makem and the Clancy Brothers and this one's a favorite:

And, of course, I had to include this one in memory of Tommy Makem (1932-2007) and Liam Clancy (1935-2009) -- God be good to both of them:

Hope y'all enjoy the day!!!!!

Happy Blogging!!!

  2. Kay, I just never took to the Irish culture, although I love celtic rock. It's a mystery because we have Irish on both sides of the family.

GFB: Cool! I think it has to be the Irish or the Scottish blood in my veins that explains my penchant for wee jar.

Happy St. Paddy's Day! David is part Irish, and since Korea is considered the Ireland of the Pacific, I am Irish, too.

  11. I'm going to steal one of your clips for my St. Patrick's Day post. The Clancy Brothers were part of the soundtrack of my childhood, since my grandmother came from County Kerry.

Enjoyed the music, thanks! Hope you have had a great St. Pat's Day! My grandfather was 100% Irish....but my kids are so much less. They all love the Guiness, though!

Kay--Nearly everyone is Irish on St Patrick's day - except my Hunky Husband! My father-in-law (Croation) and mother-in-law (Serbian) both celebrated. HH celebrates, too, but only because St Pat is the patron saint of us engineers.

May your 2nd surgery be as uneventful as mine was!
