It's the Groaner of the Week!!!!!

Yes, I actually remembered it this week! As I told y'all yesterday, I've been buried -- and I'm still trying to get caught up with everything. Sigh.

That said, I did forget to tell y'all that my OSU Buckeyes stomped Ohio University 43-7 on Saturday. When we play the other smaller state universities in it's still a pretty good game -- football is a religion in Ohio -- and it gives the other teams a chance to play in the 'Shoe -- every midget football players dream.

This week's groaner isn't exactly a groaner but it was in my email when I checked it after the game and I laughed out loud so I took that as a sign. It's irreverent and I'll prolly go to hell -- as if God couldn't find a better reason!!! Enjoy!!!!

University of Michigan football coach Bo Schembechler died and went to heaven. St. Peter met him at the gate. "It is so great to have you here, Coach." St. Peter leads Bo to a nice little 2 bedroom ranch home painted maize and blue. Upon entering, Bo finds the house decorated in Michigan colors with "M"'s all over. St. Peter leads Bo to the nice backyard with patio. Bo looks up on the high hill above his new home and sees a giant mansion all decked out in Scarlet and Gray and a big Block "O" flag flying on the flag pole. Bo turns to St. Peter and angrily asks: "Why in the heck does Woody get such a big house and I get this little ranch house??" "Oh," says St. Peter, "That's not Woody's house! That's God's house!"

Hallelujah and Amen!!!!

Hope y'all are having a great day!!!!

Happy Blogging!!!!!!!

  5. I guess my football genes got lost because I have never liked the game. I know, that's sacrilege; so sue me.

There's no sport in existence that I care to watch; but, I did appreciate the groaner. Sports are meant to be played, not watched!
