April Fool's Day hmm . . . Maybe Not

I really thought an April Fool's Day post might be fun so I went a-hunting. Maybe it's just me but everything I found was lame or boring or both. I guess I'll pass on that idea.

It's been quiet here and I'm working on things so I'll be ready if/when I get the new apartment. My good buddy Richard came by yesterday and said he plans to move, too, and has found a place that will be ideal for him. He said he found some things that will work in my new place and is saving them for me. I said okay because Richard has impeccable taste. He also found a new haunt for us -- a resale shop with glorious furniture, etc. but says we're not going until after I move and know what I want add/replace. Shopping with Richard is fun.

I'm trying to get everything in order so I know what I want to get rid of to make things easier when I do my porch sale and hopefully, move. And I'm cleaning closets and dresser drawers gather things for Goodwill. I'm being ruthless because I really have too much stuff. I just hope everything comes through. Then again, it's Spring cleaning time anyway so I might as well run with it. The trouble is my energy level is not very high and I get frustrated because I get so tired too fast. I hope Dr. Maria can help with that when I see her in couple weeks.

At any rate, I'm chipping away at a gargantuan task which so I guess that's progress. As always, I'm in music mode house work and this week old rock and roll is king -- then again, hasn't it been for over fifty years? Here are two of my favorite artists with one of my favorite oldies!

Have a great day!!!

Happy Blogging!!!!

I hope your wish comes true and you get to move. You seem to have very nice friends.

  2. I got no kick against modern jazz,
Unless they try to play it to darn fast

  3. Gigi: peppy music is the key.
Richard is my mother hen!!! LOL

Colleen: I like Chuck. Did you see the movie "Cadillac Jukebox"? It's the story of Chess Records the label that put Chuck, Etta, and Muddy Waters at the top. It was really great.

  7. Rain: Dang!!!!! Feel better.

Maggie: I applied for a place but it doesn't guarantee that I'm moving -- I have to be accepted and they have to have an opening. I don't think there will be a problem but one never knows does one? I really like the place I want -- it will make my life easier. The Queen Mary, for me, a symbol of class, elegance and civility lost.

Naomi: It's okay. The hardpart is that I'm tired and old rock and roll or old musicals energize me.

  12. I need to be ruthless too, but I can't stay awake long enough or off the computer long enough to accomplish anything!

  13. DG: It was okay. And it's slow going but I will prevail.

Judy: I have the same problem, sis. Addiction is a terrible thing.

  14. Just the thought of moving makes me tired. I hope that excitement takes over and pumps you full of energy! Good luck.
