The Friday Groaner!!!!!

It's Friday!!!! Hallelujah!!! I feel my load lightening and hope y'all are feeling the same. Next week will be busy, too, but it's mostly prep work for my trip to the suburbs of Motown to visit The Man. Pray that I navigate the Turnpike safely!

Today's offering is from the excellent Alice at My Wintersong and while it isn't exactly a groaner, it elicited a groooaannnn from me anyway!!!!!!!! Have fun!!!!!!

The following was developed as a mental age assessment by the School of Psychiatry at Harvard University . Take your time and see if you can read each line aloud without a mistake. The average person over 40 years of age cannot do it!

  1. This is this cat.
  2. This is is cat.
  3. This is how cat.
  4. This is to cat.
  5. This is keep cat.
  6. This is an cat.
  7. This is old cat.
  8. This is fart cat
  9. This is busy cat.
  10. This is for cat.
  11. This is forty cat.
  12. This is seconds cat.
Now go back and read the third word in each line from the top down and I betcha you cannot resist passing it on.

And let us know how you did!!!! I could do it!!!! Bet y'all can, too!!!!! We Elderbloggers are definitely not average.

Thanks, Alice!!!!!!!!!

Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. I groaned too, and I am thinking about next week around here, which will be extremely busy, as I have a wedding next weekend and mr. kenju has 2 doctor's appointments. The BP is still not under control, despite 24 pills per day. He is being referred to a nephrologist. Any words of wisdom?
