I Need a Couple High Fives

I finally have figured out why I've been soooooooo out of sorts!!! In addition to the family and all the other insanity, I quit smoking -- and I'm guessing that's added a lot to all the other stuff, BUT even worse -- it's been over FIVE MONTHS since I quit smoking!!!!!!!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!

  1. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!

You may be as ugly and as out of sorts as you wish for as long as you don't smoke.

One day that too shall pass.

Remember the words of my BFF: I'll never start smoking again because I'm never going through that again!

  3. I concur with your BFF -- with all you-know-what of this past couple months I haven't cheated despite how badly I wanted one. Came close this a.m. when I didn't want to talk when I called. And I'll prolly. My docs are thrilled. Then again if every one is being a jerk to me, why bother?

  5. Hang in there. Quitting was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Been clean now for 13 years, and it was worth the struggle.

  7. Good on the quitting and staying with it as it will lead to better health in your old age. I know how hard it is having had relatives who quit. They say it's one of the hardest addictions to beat. So good going.

  11. Take the time to pat yourself on the back and give yourself a reward, Kay. You and others who have given up the weed make me thankful I somehow escaped the habit. Hang in there. And Congratulations.

  12. I quit for five years once and then restarted. Dumbest thing I ever did. Took five more to quit again. That was about 1990 I think. You go girl!
