This is where I think out loud about Life, the Universe and Everything. I consider life an adventure and this is part of mine whether I'm ranting on politics or taking you on a ramble through Kay's World.
I remember seeing Eydie on The Johnny Carson Show one time telling a story about one of her sons. She had put the boys to bed and a little while later she heard one of then yelling. She went into their bedroom and found her son crying hysterical. When he saw his mother he pointed to his bedroom wall and said there was a spider there that he wanted his mother to kill it. Eydie went where he was pointing and realized what he was frightened of was just a nail in the wall. When she told him he said, "Kill it anyway!"
That will always be my favorite memory of Eydie Gorme. :)
Sweet clip of Eydie.
ReplyDeleteWell, Ruby is not so old; hope she came through her recent revamp just fine.
Ruby is 13 -- she's become a teenager!!!! Scary, huh?
DeleteAnd we had to postpone her repairs until manana. And there will be more next month.
what a loving video from him :)
ReplyDeleteHe & I both love Steve & Eydie -- & we saw them several times.

Oh thank you, Kay. I really loved those two!
ReplyDeleteHilarious!
ReplyDeleteI loved those. And too, if you can get used Highway Patrol tires, that would be a good thing. Yes, wasn't she special. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the lovely collage-video, Kay. It's a real "upper"!
