I was all set today to do one of my fun "emptying my mailbox" posts but when I got home from Obama HQ late last night from a stint as "enumerator-in-chief" (i.e., I was training a couple rookies on the data entry protocols), I was absolutely glued here trying to understand what happened in Libya. I was absolutely appalled at Romney's response -- it was un-American and borders on treason. We Americans stand together in times of crisis and, in particular, we put politics aside and support our President. And, in my totally biased opinion, anyone who stands with Romney is committing treason.
Ronni Bennett made a powerful statement on this at TGB.If you haven't seen it, just click on the link.
Today I'm attending "Camp Obama", i.e. a leadership training class, It will be interesting to see what everyone has to say about yesterday's events. I think we'll all be "Fired up and ready to go".
My sincere condolences to families of those we lost in this tragedy.
Kay
I was also totally disgusted by Romney's response. Total lack of thought or fact checking. He seems to have shot himself in his own foot trying to get his metaphorical gun out of its holster even before any real target was identified. We don't need another faux cowboy in the White House.
ReplyDeleteMittens has lost even the sense he was born with.
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing all the hard and dirty work Kay. I have not the stomach for it if it means having to hear what the other side is doing.
ReplyDeleteblessings on you.
ReplyDeleteWay ta go, girl! Nature Weaver
ReplyDeleteWay to make a mess out of a tragedy! Why am I not surprised about Mitt? I hope they can find and punish the guilty ones.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend, Kay!
Ohio is going to be key. I am glad for the work you are doing there. Good going!
ReplyDeleteLeft you a tribute and a laugh on my blog today. Keep on keeping on! -naomi
ReplyDeleteThis might all explain why Mitt is dropping in the polls. It's still too soon to rest though. Things could change on a dime. Thank you so much for your hard work, Kay.
ReplyDeleteIncredible, but not unbelievable, that such lack of knowledge about foreign affairs could exist in someone who thinks they should be President. Local CA Demos in my area aren't worried about getting people out to vote for Obama -- say there's no need to offer tranport to vote -- hope they're right.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all you are doing for the Obama campaign Kay....I truly hope he wins. I just can't stand to think of the alternative. Have a good week... ~Joy
ReplyDeleteRomney is getting his just desserts right now, but incredibly there are still some Republicans who are agreeing with him. Pitiful!
