Bill Maher Gets it Right and Gets Censored!

Bill Maher decided to his comedy special, Stupid Crazy  Politics,  on Yahoo and they censored it because of his critical commentary of Citizens United.  Y'all can see the whole thing here (thanks Politicususa!) along with text here.   It's a long video but great fun and, as always, Bill nails down insanity of Election 2012  and makes this 45 second pledge that earned him hero status in Kay's World:

I recommend y'all watch the whole thing if you can -- it's vintage Maher!!!!

That's it for today -- I actually feel human today and need to get caught up with the dreaded housework!!! I'll visit y'all later!!!!!

Happy Blogging!!!!

Kay

    1. Bill takes no prisoners. I'm a Catholic albeit a renegade and I don't take it too seriously. Bill is an atheist and hates all religions. I don't judge anyone by his/her religion unless they try to shove it in my face. I ask proseletyzers who come to my door to give me their address so I can come over and share my religious philosophy during *their* dinner. They go away. One thing I like about my church is that we don't do that. My current parish is probably my favorite of many -- we walk the walk and really do a lot to help those in need regardless of their faith and to get a free lunch at our soup kitchen, all you have to do is come by -- and no one tries to convert you. I think that's a good thing.

  4. In many ways I find Obama a huge disappointment but I shudder to think what would happen if he were beaten by any of the rabble running for the Republican nomination

    1. I'm pretty okay today -- sleep helps. God knows health issues have pervaded my life for over 30 years and they mostly just slow me down a bit. I mostly try to ignore them. And my email is in the sidebar. Maybe when/if Spring comes to Ohio, you, Mrs. Joe, and I can get together for lunch somewhere between us and regale our readers about it.

  9. Glad your tests are done and you're coming back now. Political news is a joke any more and has been for awhile -- good for lots of laughs despite the issues with which we have to combat.

  11. How nice to hear you sounding so chipper and thanks for the video clip--I missed it somehow. And Bill's million $ donation has spurred me to help as much as I can--though far short of that kind of money! As if Sarah Palin wasn't bad enough...looks like this is the new normal (candidate) for the Republican party.

  12. LOL Moi? Chipper??? Glad you were inspired! Even I send a couple bucks now and then. I consider this election a fight for my personal survival and it's my duty to fight back.

  13. This is why a lot of Liberals get their news sources from overseas such as the BBC and why it is critically important to support public television in this country. PBS is constantly under siege from the Republicans because, as Colbert put it, "The truth has a Liberal bias".
