We are Ohio and we are proud. This is how democracy works!!!! Hey, Rush? Those of us in flyover country just kicked your butt -- BIG TIME!!!!!!
Thanks to all y'all for your support!!!!!! I hope y'all stand with us and make our country a place where we ordinary mortals can make a difference -- just as the Founding Fathers hoped!!!!!
Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kay
A sweet victory for you! Good deal.
ReplyDeleteThat is good news Kay. Screw Limbaugh, he is an ignorant scumbag. His support recently for the Lord's Resistance Army was disgusting even by his low standards
ReplyDeleteI went to bed in a good mood for once for not only feeling good Ohio's voters but also Mississippi's. Congratulations are warranted. The war isn't over but two important battles were won-- and won the hard way by humans who cared enough to fight for it. We can't give up though as they won't.
ReplyDeletesay it Sister! I was watch Ed on MSNBC, wondering if I'd see you in the crowd ---- this is a HUGE victory
ReplyDeleteWow! Congratulations to you and to all the othere hard working activists in Ohio!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMare: Indeed!!!!!
ReplyDeletejams: We're thrilled!!!! And yeah. your assessment of Rush is correct!
Rain: Thanks -- we got out the voters and told the Kochs to stuff it!
Bev: Indeed!!!!
Hattie: Thanks!!!! I'm so proud of all the people who worked so hard on this!!!
Nance: A body does what it can and we won!!! This is just the beginning!
ReplyDeleteWay To Go!!!!! Congrats! Victory is sweet. This is great news :)
ReplyDeleteI saw the result and a few others. They give me some hope that we can push the Repthuglcian and Christianist a$$holes back.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the Ohio voters! Makes me think that maybe, just maybe, the voters are emerging from their apathy and noticing what has been done to them in the past couple of decades. I'm kinda proud of Mississippi, to, although I have a feeling they voted down "personhood" for all the wrong reasons. Time will tell.
ReplyDeleteKay--I'm very happy for you (and for MS).
ReplyDeleteCop Car
Yes, I thought of you when I heard about the results. congratulations. Hopefully, this is the beginning of the return to common sense.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I read recently that the anti-union bill in Ohio was even more punishing than the one in Wisconsin, so congrats. on a successful vote!
ReplyDeletecongratulations!!!!
ReplyDeleteWasn't that a great outcome? I was so proud to have Ohio roots....
ReplyDeletetake good care...
