It Is NOT My Birthday!
For God's sake!!!!! April 7th is NOT my birthday!!!!!!!!!! I added a note to the earlier post but obviously it hasn't been read by anyone. Yes, my birthday is in April but it hasn't come yet and no, I'm not celebrating that -- it's usually a case of no apparent interest to anyone.
The implication seems to be that I made a post for Ronni 's birthday just to get attention for my own and that just isn't my style as y'all should know. I have done a "Happy Birthday, Ronni!" post every year since 2006 when I began blogging and became an Elderblogger and will continue to do so as long as I blog which right now doesn't feel like a good idea .
It's nice y'all stopped by with good wishes but they are premature. I don't celebrate my birthday unless someone insists. The past year is a case of no apparent interest and certainly not worth celebrating and the coming year doesn't bode well.
Happy Blogging!!!!!
Kay

ReplyDeleteThis is NOT a Happy Birthday!!!!!Wish.....
ReplyDeleteoops ... thought i'd done good, but done bad instead. sorry
ReplyDeleteNo Barbara, every day is a winding road.
ReplyDeleteBirthdays, pshaw!! I say, unless you're my kids, or my grandkids.
April 7th is my grandson's birthday. Mercer is 2 today.
ReplyDeleteOK OK... Happy Birthday for sometime in April! I'm wishing you a pretty cake.
ReplyDeleteKay, it is always good just to read... thank you for mentioning Ronni's birthday. Without your post, I would have forgotten. I also realised that I usually wait for your happy birthday ronni post to send her off a birthday note. Please do continue!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a very merry unbirthday yesterday and that you have another today! Mine wasn't merry but enjoyable and wholly appropriate. Today I'm shooting for slightly less propriety.
ReplyDeleteI saw your claim and I saw Ronni's comment that the two of you shared birthdays. I decided to play it safe. I agree with most here: happy birthday, belatedly or in advance. Love you, dear Kay.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I celebrate my birthday and sometimes I don't.
ReplyDeleteWell, darn. We love ya anyway.
ReplyDeleteglad you are here nonetheless, from wherever and whence you came. :)
ReplyDeleteOne birthday a year is enough! Who would want two!? Not me. Not you.
