I'm still pretty much buried. The good news is that I've made a lot of progress; the bad news is that I have over-exerted myself and am exhausted so I slowed down this afternnoon and, hopefully, I'll be back on track tomorrow. The list is getting shorter and I just hope I stay the course and keep things organized.
I do appreciate y'all coming by and leaving such kind comments. Hopefully, I'll be back to my regular schedule soon and can get caught up with y'all before my eye surgery on the 21st. If it goes as well as it did with my other eye, y'all prolly won't even notice that I'm gone.
Hope y'all are having a great day!!!!!!
Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!!
Kay
Sigh... I've got an appointment with the doctor on Friday with a problem, too. Sheesh!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your other eye Kay! My right eye is progressing well after the surgery this past Monday. .Following your example I have done a couple of posts on the whole thing as a heads up for anyone having that surgery in the future.
ReplyDeleteKay: I hope it goes well -- I tend to worry too much -- and suspect that you do, too.
ReplyDeleteGFB: I'm so glad! My doc says I may only need glasses for reading afterward. It's really miracle!
Oh, my monday will be like this. Insanity is my name. Hugs from here.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your surgery, Kay. I had both eyes done when I was 57 and my life dramatically improved. Sounds like you have already had one successful surgery.

ReplyDeleteKay--Glad your eye is doing well and good luck on the second one. I still marvel at how well I now see; but, I did not have them "fix it" so as not to wear glasses. I still wished to be able to see up-close by whipping off my glasses. I would have had to put on glasses to have seen up close if they had fixed my far vision.
ReplyDeleteBTW: I loved your counter fitting story.

Yeah, slow down, read a book, maybe even an audio book if the eyes are tired.
ReplyDeleteB sometimes gets discouraged at the end of the day, thinking she hasn't accomplished enuf. or has too much left to do. I'm more anxious at the beginning of the day, thinking what I SHOULD be doing. But by the end of the day I always feel great, b/c I'm thinking -- all I have to do now is climb under warm covers and read till I fall asleep.
Anyway, yeah I too think Lucas is pretty awesome. (I'm reading a Lee Child now, altho' his Jack Reacher can be kinda violent, and I still like Sue Grafton.) Many thanks for the tip re. Les Roberts' Milan Jakovich series. Don't know about it; will try it out.
Later ...
Yes, best of luck on the upcoming surgery and please keep all your blogger friends updated. I know I will be thinking of you as the 21st draws near.
ReplyDeleteHope you're all back and seeing clearly soon!
