Here's another favorite Christmas song from another of my favorite artists!!! About twenty years ago I had the honor of seeing him perform with our local symphony and yes, he plays truly wonderful classical guitar.
May all the blessings of this blessed season come to all y'all whether you celebrate it or not!!! And that's from the bottom of my heart!!!
Happy Blogging!!!!!!!

MELE KALIKIMAKA, KAY!!!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and might I add another Christmas song to give a try, done by a newer group-- 'White Christmas' by Rascal Flatts. It's the same old song but with a new feel.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Kay!
ReplyDeleteDid you know that Mel Torme wrote that song in the middle of July? His lyricist, whose name escapes me at the moment, wrote the first four lines in an attempt to "think cool" when his house was really hot.
Enjoy those old chestnuts, and have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

and the New year.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday and 2011.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteTwo classics. I wasn't familiar with the Rascal Flatts "White Christmas," so I youtubed it -- and it is great!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Kay, and thank you for the serenade.
ReplyDeletegigi: Likewise!!!
ReplyDeleteRain: I looked and loved it!!! Then again, I've always enjoyed their music but Nat is nostalgia for me and I post it every year.
Steve: Thanks!!! Yes I did kn0w that. When I like something, I have to learn more about it. And that's why I'm a walking compendium of worthless info. LOL
Granny Mar: Thanks and a big "Slainte!" as you have your holiday G&T!!!!
tnlib: Likewise! We have a lot to do next year!!
joared: Like wise and a bundle of hugs!!! And don't forget the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 4th!!!
Sightingsat60: Thanks -- I love classics and I listened the Rascal Flatts version, too, and it's excellent.
Nance: Thanks!!! It isn't Christmas without Nat!!
I got Peggy and album by Nat, and I your entry inspired me to look Jose up. He's only 65. I would have thought he was older than that.
ReplyDeleteGreat tunes! Hope you're enjoying a lovely, quiet day-after-Christmas...
