Happy Independence Day

Today we celebrate the founding of our nation. I hope that sometime y'all take a moment to count your blessing of living in a country of, by and for the people. Yeah, I know it doesn't always seem that way(and yeah, I kvetch as much anyone -- if not more) but we still live in the greatest country in the world. And please take a moment to remember our soldiers around the world whether you support their being there or not. (Especially First Sarge Mike -- my big little brother!)

Sis-in-law Karen, her sis, Chris and I are having a barbecue/sleepover. LOL!!!

Here is an excellent 4th of July groooaaannn to give y'all a grin on this important holiday!!!!! Enjoy!!!!!

Who Signed The Declaration of Independence?

A little boy just couldn’t learn. One day his teacher
asked him who signed the Declaration of Independence.
He didn’t know. For almost a week she asked him the
same question every day, but still he couldn’t come up
with the right answer.

Finally, in desperation, she called the boy’s father to
her office. “Your boy won’t tell me who signed the
Declaration of Independence,” she complained.

“Come here, son, and sit down,” the dad said to the boy.
“Now if you signed that crazy thing, just admit it so we
can get out of here!”

Happy 4th of July and Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a great 4th, Kay. I agree that we can complain and work for change in this country but it's still the best place for us and we have a WHOLE lot to be grateful for.
