It's the Groaner of the Week!!!!

I'm still trying to get caught up with all the things I neglected here at home while I concentrated on the election and we're still celebrating here in Ohio so I have a semblance of a social life for a change in addition to a ton of housework that requires attention. That said, here's an excellent groooaaannn for y'all!

A guy goes to a doctor . . .

"Doc, I can't stop singing The Green, Green Grass of Home."
"That sounds like Tom Jones Syndrome."
"Is it common?"

(pause)

"Well, It's Not Unusual."

Happy Blogging!!!!!!

  5. I was on the edge of my seat for hours--in spite of the projections--just waiting for Ohio's results to come in election night. Needless-to-say, you were on my mind a lot then! You deserve to celebrate! All that everyday stuff can be caught up in good time.

  6. OMG....only funny thing online at this moment.

You did so well in Ohio, why don't you go down and straighten things out in Florida's 18th district? Somebody needs to give that West character what for!

  8. Kay, I’m sorry but I read it 3 times and I did not get it – jokes are the hardest things to get when English is not a first language. I’ll have my husband read it and explain it to me… he is from Ohio and knows the lingo… By the way he was mighty please with y’all.

    1. Vagabonde, those are merely some lyrics Tom Jones sang in songs associated with him, I think. Jokes, proverbs are generally among the most difficult aspects to understand for those learning/using a second language, so you wouldn't be alone with that experience.

  10. An off topic comment ...

Earlier today, my kids told me to go stuff it, so I am off to the kitchen now with 2 boxes of Stove Top.

I am now the center of gravity for my family – the one around whom everyone congregates (and sometimes aggravates) – so tomorrow I will be flinging the bird (sliced turkey) to everyone.

If a very large bird appears at your window on Thanksgiving Day, have no fear. Its probably a peeping tom. Happy Thanksgiving.
