Happy St Patrick's Day!

Everybody's Irish on St. Patrick's Day!!! And it's not complete without The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem!!!  Here's one of my favorites!!!!!!!

I'm off to an 'Occupy' meeting (which I think is a truly appropriate way to celebrate the day given Ireland's long history of rebellion) but will be joining a couple friends for a wee jar and corned beef and cabbage later!

Hope y'all celebrate the day well!!!!

Happy Blogging!!!!!

Kay

  5. Tried a different way of getting here and it worked. Hurrah. No beer. Think of the hangover I am not having. :)

  6. I really enjoyed this so much, Kay. I turned up the sound so my son's Irish girlfriend could hear the music better.

  7. My wife took me out to dinner tonight... to a local Irish pub (McMenamins) where the diners were treated to bag pipes over dinner. As we left the pub I remarked to my wife how cool was that. She reminded me that today is St. Patrick's Day... I had totally forgotten. Me, with a totally Irish sir name.

  10. Kay, This will not be a popular Elderblogging response, however, I will proceed. Seems that your commenters chose to skip over the most important piece in your post: you're on your way to an OCCUPY meeting. As part of your St. Patrick celebration. Here's an Irish coffee to your spirit!
