It's the Groaner of the Week!!!

[Note: The queue for the Friday groaner is quite short. Please
send me your favorite groaners so we can keep it going.]

It's Monday again! Time to groooooaaaaannnn! Many thanks to Dr. Stu Savory for Friday's groaner -- it was a great one and also thanks to all of you, gentle bloggers, who took the time to come by and comment! The Kay is still on overload so I'm behind on everything -- housework, blogging, email, errands -- you name it and someone/something is tapping me on the shoulder for my attention! Hopefully, things will calm -- but not in the next couple weeks so I'll be around when I can but never fear -- I'm keeping the groaners a priority. I need them as much as y'all do! LOL

Here's one that should be good for enough grooooooaaaaaaans to keep you going until Friday when I have another good one for you from a nice lady who loves groaners as much as I do!

A workman was killed at a construction site. The Crime Scene Investigation team arrived and began questioning a number of the other workers. Based on past brushes with the law, many of these workers were considered prime suspects. They were a motley crew:

* The electrician was suspected of wiretapping once but was never charged.
* The carpenter thought he was a stud. He tried to frame another man one time.
* The glazier went to great panes to conceal his past. He still claims that he didn't do anything, that he was framed.
* The painter had a brush with the law several years ago.
* The heating, ventilation & air conditioning contractor was known to pack heat. He was arrested once but duct the charges.
* The mason was suspect because he gets stoned regularly.
* The cabinet maker is an accomplished counter fitter.

The autopsy led the police to arrest the carpenter, who subsequently confessed. The evidence against him was irrefutable. Why, you ask?

Because it was found that the workman, when he died, was hammered.

Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!!!
