It's Veterans' Day and time to recall the brave men and women who have served their country in war and peace. I found this video (less than three minutes) absolutely lovely and hope y'all do, too. As I watched it, I couldn't help but think about the young Iraq war vet who came back home only to be shot at Occupy Oakland and lies in the hospital there. The irony of that makes me very sad.

It was a helluva day! In addition to not feeling well, my computer got bit by something not very nice so I was running all sorts of things to repair it which didn't help my physical and mental health much.
