Videos that Hit Home

I'm a mess over a lot of things going on in my life. I am still not feeling well and I've not an iota of Christmas spirit. Thanks to all of you for all the great comments on the Boehner piece -- and a heartfelt welcome to the new folks who came to visit. I do appreciate you greatly! Today I'm copping out and letting others do the talking for me.

Side note: It struck me that Boehner reminds me of my single bar-hopping days when guys like him would slither up and by the time I got rid of 'em (not an easy task as some of you might recall), I wanted to go home and take a shower. Yuck!!! Ladies, you remember the type don't you?

Here's Joan Walsh weighing in on the "Weeper of the House":

And no, not everyone in his district is batsh*t crazy enough to support him -- here he weighs in on health care and the 8th district fights back:

Here's my hero Bernie Sanders with Rachel Maddow -- it speaks for itself.
Only Bernie is on our side -- the rest are a bunch of greedy, gutless wonders.

Here's the song of the week and yeah, I'm in protest music mode and Dylan was the best!!! Try to find a decent video is getting tough. Maybe I'll write a protest song about it!

Hope y'all are having a great day!!!!

Happy Blogging!!!!!

Kay

  7. Hope you're feeling better soon.

And there are other good guys besides Sanders. Our rep from Oregon, Pete DeFazio spoke out and our whole delegation with the exception of the lone Republican representative, all voted no on the tax bill. They do what is right a lot.

  8. Great post, Kay!!! Whatever is getting you down hasn't affected your ability to tap out some great stuff for the rest of us to think about. Loved the video clips. I think Boner's mother dropped him on his head. He just cries for himself, not for any of the people whose lives he is ruining with his ugly Republican policies.

    Feel better!!!

  9. Rain: You are right! He's not the only one. My senator, Sherrod Brown, stood with Bernie. I'm just so frustrated the whole mess!!!

M.E.: Thanks!!!! I don't suffer fools gladly and he definitely qualifies. I'm amazed at the response to this post! I honestly think I got more response on this post than any other.

  11. My you feel better soon! There really isn't any reason to feel the holiday spirit any more than what is in your heart to feel. Some of us just use the time to sit back and contemplate the year gone by and give thanks for the small joys and wonders that do visit us. The rest is not everyman's soup.
